The UFC usually frowns upon its fighters missing weight, but in John Lineker’s case, he’s been given a pass 3 times. In fact, he could be just one win away from fighting for the UFC Flyweight title, should he defeat fellow rising contender Ali Bagautinov. With a win and the requirement that he makes weight, Lineker will likely get a shot at gold in 2014. Should Bagautinov win, he may be one more win away from a title shot, thus opening the door for John Dodson to get his rematch with Mighty Mouse.
