Rafael dos Anjos has proven to be quite the reclamation project. After losing his first 2 UFC fights to Jeremy Stephens and Tyson Griffin, most though Dos Anjos was in danger of being released. Yet, Dos Anjos traveled to Thailand where he rapidly improved his striking and linked up with Team Evolve. He’s gone 9-2 since, and is currently riding a 5-fight win streak, highlighted by his most recent win over Donald Cerrone. Dos Anjos will likely be considered a heavy underdog against any of the guys ranked ahead of him, but he has proven capable of pulling off the unexpected.
