If there is any fighter that deserves more hype in the UFC Lightweight division it is Khabib Nurmagomedov. He’s recently defeated Pat Healy, Gleison Tibau, and Thiago Tavares all of whom are considered experienced veterans that have reached relative success at various times in their career. Nurmagomedov has proven that he is just scratching the surface of his capabilities after recently dispatching of Healy. Khabib is calling for a top contender next, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see some of the guys ranked above him attempt to avoid a matchup with the undefeated Russian.
