Antonio Rogerio Nogueira may not get the respect he deserves, but it’s hard to fault those forgetting about him since he’s struggled to stay healthy in recent years. 6 of his last 11 fight booking have been scrapped due to either him or his opponent being injured. That stat has not helped Lil’ Nog climb the ranks of the UFC Light Heavyweight division. Nogueira showed he’s still capable of competing against elite talent with his recent win over Evans, but it was hardly a career defining win due to the lack of action. Over the last 3 years, Nogueira has only fought 4 times, 2 of which were losses to Phil Davis and Ryan Bader. It’s now or never for Nogueira to reach contender status, but can he stay healthy enough to do so?
