#9: Jonas Bilharinho
Jonas “Speed” Bilharinho really captured my attention from the available footage I was able to find. He really is lightning fast with his striking, and combined with his long reach, Bilharinho looks like a future lock to one day join the UFC. Bilharinho most recently captured the Jungle Fight Bantamweight Championship from Mario Israel. The fight was extremely close, and an immediate rematch has already been scheduled. It was a big step up in competition for Bilharinho, who was largely untested on the Brazilian regional scene. As is the case with many top Brazilian prospects, he had a difficult time finding fights as of late. 6 of his last 8 fights have been cancelled, but now that he is the Jungle Fight champion he should have no problem finding suitable opposition before eventually making his way to the UFC. Bilharinho trains out of Team Nogueira and at just 23 years of age, is certainly one of the top prospects to watch in all of Brazil.
