Liz Carmouche wasn’t really on the radar prior to her monumental UFC debut against Ronda Rousey. She has made good on her opportunity though as she has won a legion of new fans and respect amongst the MMA community. Carmouche nearly submitted Rousey in their title fight, and though she eventually succumbed to an armbar, she did nothing but up her stock in the minds of most. She has since gone 1-1, most recently losing a tough decision to Alexis Davis.
