Luke Rockhold has always been a confident fighter, but maybe his confidence turned to cockiness as he looked to take the fast track towards UFC title contention. Rockhold’s decision to attempt and defy the odds of beating Vitor Belfort on his home turf ended up coming back to bite him and his stock took quite a plunge following the one-sided fight. For those UFC fans that never saw Rockhold fight in Strikeforce, he will be back. Rockhold is a top level talent with all the intangibles to challenge for a title one day. Hopefully, Rockhold gets an easier fight next time out so he can show fans why he was once the Strikeforce Middleweight champion.
