Takeya Mizugaki’s heart should never be questioned as a fighter. Mizugaki continues to show why he is one of the most underrated fighters in the Bantamweight division. Previously, Mizugaki had struggled with consistency ever since his epic stateside debut, which was a short notice, 5-round championship fight against Miguel Torres in the WEC. Mizugaki is currently riding a 3-fight win streak, though it easily could have been 5, had he not been robbed of a decision against Chris Cariaso. Mizugaki has struggled against the elite of the division, but he is likely to face a top name after upsetting rising prospect Erik Perez.
