Matt Riddle vs. Matt Brown

Matt Riddle(5-2) and Matt Brown(11-10) were once housemates on The Ultimate Fighter 7, but now they will face off at UFC on Versus 3 according to MMAweekly. Brown was set to face Mark Scanlon at this event, but Scanlon withdrew earlier this week with an injury.

This fight may decide who continues their career with the UFC, as both fighters are coming off losses. Riddle has shown improved striking, but if he wants to win in the UFC, he needs to use his wrestling. Meanwhile, Brown has found himself in a slump after taking a step in competition. Brown has solid takedown defense, and knockout power in his hands.

If Brown can keep this fight standing he should be able to pick Riddle apart with kicks and punches, but I am guessing that Riddle will go back to his bread and butter(wrestling) in this one.
