Jason MacDonald vs. Ryan Jensen
By the time Jason Macdonald(24-14) steps back into the octagon on April 30th, it will have been one full year since we saw the Canadian middleweight. MacDonald suffered a broken leg in his last fight, in what turned out to be an injury-riddled 2010 for the 38-fight veteran.
He now steps into the octagon with Ryan Jensen(15-7) at UFC 129 according to Sportsnet.ca. MacDonald will look to survive the early onslaught that Jensen usually brings and possibly bring this fight to the ground in order to wear down Jensen. Jensen is a gamer, but he has had some notorious conditioning issues that have led to most of his losses, which is contrary to MacDonald who always come in to fights looking stellar. Despite Jensen’s difficulties, this is not a gimme fight for MacDonald, as the long layoff could hinder him in this fight. There is a lot at stake in this one as the loser will likely not survive the latest round of roster cuts.
