Former UFC and WEC welterweight Edgar Garcia(8-2) will fight on the independent scene February 18th at Tachi Palace Fights 7. He will face Mike Moreno(4-2) according to MMAjunkie.

Garcia went 0-2 in the octagon, losing an exciting fight with DaMarques Johnson and a decision loss to Brad Blackburn that many feel Garcia won.
