Dongi Yang vs. Rob Kimmons

Dongi Yang(9-1) did not have the type of debut he probably envisioned as he lost a close decision to Chris Camozzi. He will look to put the loss behind him as he faces Rob Kimmons(23-6) at UFC on Versus 3 according to MMAweekly.

Yang was a fairly big signing for the UFC, considering he was a rising star on the Asisan MMA scene. Yang’s a stablemate of the “Korean Zombie”Chan Sung Jung and was hoping to parlay upon his training partner’s recent success in the WEC. Yang had finished all 9 of his fights, prior to the loss at UFC 121.

Kimmons’ conditioning and overall athleticism have left him very limited in the UFC. A future cut to welterweight may the best option for him, should he lose this fight.
