Dan Evensen has been released the UFC. He has already been booked in an upcoming fight for the Bellator promotion.

Evensen did not fair well in the UFC. He suffered losses to Pat Barry and Cheick Kongo. Evensen was advertised as a striker, but showed little talent in both appearances.
