Antonio McKee vs. Drew Fickett
Recently exiled UFC-lightweight Antonio McKee(25-4-2) will make his return back to Canada where he will fight newly-signed Drew Fickett(40-13) at MFC 28.
McKee left the MFC as their reigning lightweight champion to sign with the UFC, but one split decision loss later in the octagon, he finds himself back in Canada fighting for Mark Pavelich’s promotion.
Drew Fickett, was an afterthought to many fans following his release from the UFC years ago, and subsequent issues with alcoholism. Yet, Fickett showed when sober, he is still a force to be reckoned with as he defeated 3 fighters in one night to win Shine Fights’ lightweight tournament in 2010.
McKee’s wrestling is still indisputable, but he’s going to have to think twice before taking down Fickett who has made quite the habit of submitting top wrestlers in the past.
