UFC Fight Night 23 produced a main card of exciting action and touching tributes to our troops. Melvin Guillard continued to prove that he is a changed fighter, as he roughed up the highly-touted Evan Dunham. We also have a new title contender for Jose Aldo in the Featherweight(145) division, as Mark Hominick outclassed George Roop.

In addition, Matt Mitrione has proven to be a decent prospect in the heavyweight division as he impressively knocked down Tim Hague. Pat Barry and Joey Beltran put on a great show of heart as they stood and traded strikes with each other.

Overlooked was the wrestling that stifled Brazilian prospects Amilcar Alves and Willamy Freire.
