Joe Riggs signs with Bellator

45-fight veteran Joe Riggs(34-11) has decided to sign with Bellator after parting ways with Strikeforce. Riggs, currently ranked 46 at welterweight, will actually be fighting as a middleweight for Bellator since there are no slots left in the upcoming Bellator welterweight tournament.

Riggs has won 6 out of his last 7 fights. He was not a favorite of Scott Coker, as he had previously voiced his displeasure with not fighting as much as he would have liked.
