Phillipe Nover vs. Kyle Bradley @ UFC 98

Phillipe Nover will be gunning for his first official UFC victory against Kyle Bradley at UFC 98.

Nover was the runner-up for Season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter, falling to Efrain Escudero in the Finals. The UFC has placed plenty of praise and expectations upon Nover. He brings a nice blend of submission skills and striking, but his wrestling is lacking, which exposed him in his fight with Escudero.

Kyle Bradley is winless in the UFC after 2 bouts. He was the victim of a brutal KO loss at the hands of Chris Lytle. He decided to drop down to 155 after the fight. Bradley showed a better performance in his 2nd fight, but eventually was overwhelmed by Joe Lauzon. This is likely Bradley’s last shot with the UFC, should he lose again.

UFC 98 Lightweight Bout:

Hello everyone! I truly appreciate your support for RankingMMA and my efforts towards providing MMA World Rankings, UFC Rankings, Prospect Rankings, and Analysis. I started this site way back in 2006 (originally named MMAsurvival until 2009) as a huge MMA fan with absolutely no web design or blogging experience. Over 10 million page views later and 13 years later, the site continues on because of you! The first few years of the site I produced daily content from fight announcements, rankings, and fight card previews and analysis. That effort eventually slowed down as my career took off. Since then, I focused on some passion projects such as writing my first book, The World’s Top MMA Fighters in 2012 and the MMA Prospects Report in 2013. With a full-time job and family, my available time continued to shrink over the last 5 years. I do my very best to update all rankings sections weekly and will be working on new content for the site. It has been an amazing experience to see the sport globalize. Over 30% of my site traffic now comes from outside North America. You must know that your support is what has kept me updating the site all these years. Please feel free to email me at or leave a comment on the site. Cheers, DC
