Jim Miller vs. Thiago Tavares @ UFC 103
A solid 155-fight has been booked for UFC 103 as promising prospects, Jim Miller and Thiago Tavares, will face off.
Miller is coming off a bloody win over Mac Danzig at UFC 100. His only career losses are to Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar, which were cases of Miller not being able to use his wrestling ability. Miller may turn into a future title contender as he continues to gain experience and round out his striking ability.
Thiago Tavares has struggled with consistency in the UFC, but he possesses strong grappling and conditioning. At only 24 years of age Tavares still has plenty of time to develop his striking and wrestling. Tavares has to be careful not to overlook Jim Miller, as Tavares has already called out Tyson Griffin next. Tavares will soon find out that Miller is one of the toughest fighters in the 155-division.
